Bite San Diego is a localized city and tour company showing visitors what San Diego has to offer, both in cuisine and attractions. As one of the premier food destinations on the west coast, San Diego receives millions of visitors each year looking to experience the cuisine and culture.
In addition to its various attractions, San Diego is home to one of the largest military communities in the country. With more than 100,000 active duty service members and 240,500 veterans residing there, with new personnel stationed there each year, Bite San Diego wanted to reach this special group in a personalized way.
As a way to show their appreciation to the military community and give both them and their families better access to these tours, Bite San Diego decided to offer special military pricing. So those military patrons could purchase online and redeem this offer, SheerID implemented its military verification via a hosted iframe that pops up when shoppers go to purchase. They then enter in their information into the form, and upon successful verification, customers are rewarded with a single-use coupon code to complete their purchase.
