Costco offers teachers, veterans, active duty military, and military family members $50 in coupons and freebies when they purchase Costco Membership Activation Cards, or upgrade an existing membership. Upon verification, qualified customers are directed to a protected landing page where they can print out their Activation Cards and take them into any Costco location to activate their membership and receive coupons to redeem for free and discounted Costco products, thereby driving trackable traffic to Costco stores. In the first year of the program, Costco’s military offer became its best performing National Membership Program.
