Change can be hard, but recently at SheerID we’ve had some new changes that we’re extremely excited about. Over the past few months there have been many new faces that have joined our team, each adding a plethora of new skills and tools to the SheerID repertoire. In order to keep up with all the team growth, especially in the Portland, OR area, it became time to open another office in addition to our headquarters in Eugene. After weeks of hunting for the perfect space all over the city, we finally found it! Last week we officially opened our doors to our new downtown Portland office!
If you know the Portland area, the office is on the 7th floor of the 620 Building in the heart of Pioneer Place – meaning we’re surround by amazing food, lots of stores, views of the city, and even a GORGEOUS view of Mt. Hood in the distance.
With a lot of hard work from the Portland team over the last week, we were able to SheerID-ify the office by accenting with some orange and green, an awesome SheerID Fathead, and carrying on the tradition of the “SheerID signature door desks” that the team created back in 2012 when SheerID first opened its doors in Eugene. While we had to put a little touch of Portland on the desks by making the legs out of pipes instead of wood (like the Eugene office,) each door we found at the Portland Rebuilding Center still brings a unique color, character, and design to the office.
We’re still adding new items to the space every day, but we’re thrilled to be in our new office and to be a part of the Portland tech community. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and say hi. The team would be happy to show off the new office!
